The "Gasthaus zur Oper," located directly across from the Vienna State Opera, is a symbiosis of modern design and Viennese tradition. The centerpiece of the culinary offerings is the original Wiener Schnitzel, prepared from the finest veal, along with classic Viennese cuisine.

Our schnitzel has been voted Vienna’s most popular Wiener Schnitzel for the third consecutive time – the original Wiener Schnitzel is made exclusively from veal.

The sweet heart of Austria: Kaiserschmarrn.

Modern dishes, such as grilled fish and meat, seasonal specialties, and pasta dishes, are also prominently featured on the menu. A specially brewed beer from Vienna’s largest brewery, along with selected wines, rounds out the enjoyment. An additional attraction in the summer is the large beer garden with a shady awning.
